Love Story Videos, A Modern Day Time Capsule

Imagine if you could pop in a DVD of your own grandparents when they were young and newly engaged, telling their stories about how they met, who pursued who, etc.  Wouldn't it be amazing to see the tears well up in your grandma's eyes while your grandpa talks about the moment he realized that she was "the one" and bought a ring to propose to her?  That, in a nutshell, is a love story video.  It's a time capsule that freezes how you looked and felt the days before you got married.

In a traditional love story video shoot, we would prompt you with questions about how you met, what your first impressions of each other were, when you knew it was getting serious, etc.  It's nice to shoot the video outside, or maybe even where you had your first date.  Check out Justin & Stormie's love story video below to see this style of love story video.  If you're too shy to talk "on camera", we would just record your conversation on a recorder to use as a voiceover and then show romantic shots of you as a couple.  Oftentimes the guests at your wedding won't know your love story and will be brought to tears as they watch it at your reception.

If all that sounds too sappy for your tastes, we'd love to shoot a fun video that'll have your guests in stitches.  These love story videos are often called "concept videos".  You can make it a spoof of a movie, a commercial, music video, etc.  The sky is the limit when it comes to what we can create with you.  Check out Hal & Ashton's love story video below with a humorous twist on "how they met".

Over time, your memories will fade (and unfortunately, your youthful looks will too!).  A love story video is the perfect way to capture these moments forever.
