The Top 3 Avoidable Wedding Bloopers, pt, 3

Tip #3 : Takin' Care of Business.

Your wedding day has finally arrived.  You're walking down the aisle and realize that you haven't eaten a thing all day (unless gum counts).  And now that you think about it, you're feeling kind of dizzy.  You've taken care of every detail, but who took care of you?

We've all seen the clips on TV shows where the bride or groom passes out at the altar.  That makes for hilarious TV, but you don't want that to happen on your own wedding day.

Even if it means your ceremony has to start late, you really need to take a moment to eat (at least a substantial snack) and drink enough water to stay hydrated (but not so much that you can't "hold it" during the ceremony... a blooper we wouldn't even dare touch in this blog!).  We know this isn't the first time you've heard this advice, but hopefully if you hear it from enough people, you'll act on it.

If your plan is "We'll just eat at the reception", think again.  It's the most expensive meal you'll ever not eat.  Chances are you'll constantly be approached by well-meaning guests and vendors and end up barely taking a bite of dinner.  Add some alcohol to the mix, and you're sure to end up with a submission to next season's bloopers show.

If you really want to be taken care of, consider hiring a professional wedding coordinator to keep your entire wedding blooper-free.  We're happy to refer you to a local coordinator.

Cheers,
Stephanie
